Park Shore Commons — Attraction in Calumet Township

The apartments are in a great location. However, Maintenance is horrible. They don't fix anything. I have never seen over 100 apartments with No SECURITY. They have cameras up that dont work. People shoot guns in the middle of the night and police dont come ( in this area) when you call. There have been 2 fights on my floor in 1 week. The management company has a answering Service that NEVER returns your call. Cooporate is unreachable so if you need help, your on your own. The outside is maintained so neighbors don't complain and owners can continue to get tax break.

They literally give you the run around they’re not serious on getting ppl housing while getting pulled from the waiting list so don’t waste your time here . Bad management the person in the office is highly unprofessional and don’t understand her stay . Couldn’t even talk to me without having 5 cigarette smoke breaks within 2 mins of us talking in the cold . The owners renovated the complex and maintain the outside responsibly. However, the Indiana Dunes National Park property across the street is ignored. Litter is strewn along the national park property for blocks that originates at Park Shore Commons. The place would earn more stars if it took responsibility for cleaning the property...
