Wells Street Beach — Attraction in Calumet Township

I was there yesterday for Memorial Day with my family. As we were heading out, my mother wasn’t feeling well. Believe she was having heat exhaustion. She could barely walk nor breathe. One of the workers noticed her and came to her rescue right away. Offering her something to drink to help boost her electrolytes and got her back to feeling okay. The nice lady poured cold water over my mother and even wet some towels to put on her neck. She also offered to have an ambulance come and check on my mom. My family visited this beach yesterday. It was extremely littered as we walked along the Shore. There was an array of trash ranging from liquor bottles, used tampons, toys, shoes.... etc... After sitting for a moment we decided to walk up a trail to the sidewalks and walk back to our vehicle. What a beautiful beach. Great parking, friendly people. Except the old lady. It's disappointing when someone lacks basic manners or human empathy. This older lady seems to lack both. She seems go out of her way to be mean, dismissive and unhelpful, which left a negative impression on me and my family. I hope that in the future she seeks the anger management classes or someone teaches her to learn how to talk to people. I wouldn't recommend dealing with her unless you have no...
