En Gedi Vineyards and Winery — Attraction in Calvert

I was passing through Calvert and a wine tasting spot caught my eye. I live in the wine country of California So I was very excited to try out a place in Texas. It did not disappoint. Not only was their wine extremely yummy, but their service was EXCELLENT. When the owners heard I was scoping areas of Texas to move to they provided so much personal and valuable information. The Sangria/Cabernet/Sweet JC are my favorite. Their Charcuterie Boards (we call them adult lunchables) are phenomenal. Good place to start your Calvert visit! The wife and I come here often. The owners, Pat and Karen, are some of the best people we know. They grow their grapes and age their own wine right across the river at their Vinyard, which is also open to the public.

As we were driving to Colorado we passed this cute little storefront Vineyard in Calvert City, Texas. My wife gave me this look of "aren't you going to make a u-turn so we can have a glass of wine?" So I did! What an adorable winery. Met the owners who were conversational and entertaining with lifetime stories similar to ours. The wife enjoyed her White wine 🍷 and I thoroughly enjoyed my Sangria, personally from their vineyard. We will definitely make another stop once we pass through Calvert City again. You...
