BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Beltsville — Attraction in Calverton

Wonderful Divine Place. Thanks to Pramukh Swami Maharaj for building such inspiring Mandir and doing so many good activities for changing life of people in US. I visited this temple yesterday while returning from Washington DC, there was Ravisabha going on so we were doing darshan from outside of sabha hall. Bhartiben saw us from inside hall and she asked my wife to come in and seat there but we were in hurry to go back to New Jersey so we thanked her but she insisted to take prasad. The Temple is just like any other BAPS temple no doubt it’s clean and well maintained. My reason for a bed review is “Snacks”. They have stale snacks ( old & smelly) which are about to expire or already expired but the package date says 3more months. Moong Bhardan was one of my favorite but at this location the one i got is extremely sweet(so so so so so sweet)! I am so disappointed it says 1g suger on the packet and the every bite tasted like I am eating raw suger. Kachori, Samosa was extremely dry and you can tell it’s not fresh. My colleague and I brought eight students to this temple, and we were greeted with supreme hospitality, kindness, and generosity. Each student and faculty member was provided with an escort for the entire visit. We were provided a delicious and nourishing meal made by the community. And, our students were welcomed with an informative presentation.
