Fabulous place! This is a beautiful ten acres of park-like woodlands with sculptures placed throughout, ranging from conventional to eccentric, tiny to mammoth, beautiful to....well, let's just say interesting. You can stroll through at your leisure and enjoy the tranquility along with the creativity. There is also a large studio with more art on display that's well worth a visit. Karla has done a great job with this place - go...

This is mainly a sculpture display, although there is other art available inside. You walk through a beautiful outdoor setting seeing art pieces everywhere. Under the root of a giant cedar tree is a sculpture. Next to a giant Douglas fir is another piece. Among a grove of birch is a set of three companion sculpture. This is a FREE, rare experience not to be missed. It is free-wheeling as a park-like walk through nature while interacting with beautiful sculptures while also offering a more traditional indoor gallery onsite.

We totally enjoyed our walk around the grounds at Matzke's. It was so peaceful and relaxing and it's FREE! We also enjoyed our time inside looking at the current art display. AND we meet the owner, Karla! She was a breathe of fresh air and we felt like we had made a new friend! We will enjoy taking friends up there on day trips and will for sure recommend it to others!

This museum was quite a wonderful experience to wander through. The indoor was full of intriguing pieces by some wonderful local artists. However, what really made the journey great was the outdoor sculpture garden. Some truly priceless pieces on offer. We'll definitely visit again.
