Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center — Attraction in Camden

Truly enjoyed my time spent here. Lovely place to find unique items in a variety of price ranges for male or female, young in years to young at heart. My husband even enjoyed his time here looking at all the artisans work. The book selection is unique as well. I love that it has a photo of the artisan and a small biography about them. Right now they even have a book dedicated to this area and many of these artists and the beautiful work on display here. There is a fundraiser going on towards expansion of the facilities to display more art and be able to work with the community more. The time we were there a class was going on with youngsters and they were having a great time! It was so inspiring to me. Made me wish my grandlittles had somewhere they could gotolearn about art like this. If you co to Camden, Alabama take a ride around this little town. There are some amazing little gems and some not so little gems sprinkled about. We love this area of Alabama...sweet...

A very interesting place where you can see artwork from multiple local artists and buy it if you really like it. No charge to get in although this is really a gallery worth visiting. They just started selling pecan candy from Flying Basset Farm which is a local pecan orchard that makes artisan gourmet candy on the farm from the pecans they grow...
