I liked this park. We went on a weekday- the park mostly had a retired generation set up in the RV section. The park felt really small. It appeared to be perfect for fishing. Cleanest bathrooms I have seen for a state park! We chose it for the bike trail - OMG, that was a ROUGH bike trail. I think the park said it was 9 miles long - and it took us around 2 hrs to complete. We regretted it - thought it would be moderately difficult and found it to be more for advanced mountain biking riders. Came across around 6 fallen trees, probably around 3 hidden holes that will swallow a tire. I wish we had stayed with the blue trail markers. I was hoping the trails wd hv been adequate for a trailer because I wanted to take my dog, but after walking the red trail first, I realized none of it would be trailer appropriate. If you take the white trail, also take plenty of water, patience, and may your relationship with your partner be STRONG because words will be...

I had reserved ahead of time online so, no issues whatsoever. I arrived late, around 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday night and a friendly note on the door told me which campsite to go to. It is beautiful, forested, and if you choose your site through the photos on the website, you can get a lakefront view. Absolutely gorgeous. The biggest negative to my tent camping experience was an RV family a few campsites away that didn't understand the meaning of "quiet time after 10:00 p.m." I wish that tent sites were not on top of gravel but c'est la vie. That's just the way so many campgrounds these days do it. The bathhouse and showers were spotless, power hookup easy inconvenient, water source right next to the site. If I'm ever passing through that way again, I'll definitely consider another camping experience at White Oak Lake, but I'll remember my...

We loved this park! It was beautiful and well maintained. It is a small park but the lake gives you a fantastic view. They have a gift shop, a boat ramp and many places to fish from. They have 3 fantastic walking trails! We loved the 3 mile trail. It was perfect for our level but far enough to get the heart pumping:) It also went completely through woods and along the lake. It's complete nature! The only negative I had was the lack of wifi. You could connect down by the gift shop but no where else. I have a full time job that I work from our camper and I need wifi or a hotspot to work. Neither did from our site. Other than that, it was perfect! So if you are just relaxing I would highly...

One of my favorite state parks. Great tent camping sites, there are four right in a row and they are all nice. Equipped with nice grills and fire pits with built in cooking grate. The tent pads are filled with sharp rocks, I would advise setting up in the grass somewhere. The bathrooms are new and always week kept by the fantastic park crew. Clean showers that are BIG! Hiking trails are right there as well, good hiking trails with a 1.5 mile loop, 3 mile loop, and ten mile loop. There are hike in sites as well, but there is no water source by them. Great fishing and they rent boats as well for about $85 for the whole day. All in all, a great park with the visit. Beautiful lake.

Follow me on Instagram - @MikeIsOutside - You can fish for bass, crappie, catfish, and bream, or rent kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats to explore the water. There are also hiking and biking trails for all skill levels, making it easy to enjoy the forests and wildlife. The park offers campsites for tents and RVs, cabins for rent, and picnic areas with tables and grills. When I visited, there were tons of people, making it hard to find a parking spot, and the trails were a bit crowded. Located about 20 miles northwest of Camden, Arkansas, the park is easy to reach by road and offers a great mix of outdoor fun and natural beauty.
