We had a big group for dinner last night and the staff was very accommodating. Then came the appetizers and they were nothing like we have experienced before anywhere else. The brussels sprouts were soft, tangy, and sweet. Definitely nothing like the sprouts I ate (and hated!) in my younger years. I could eat Riverbird brussels every day. Then came the lavender and honey fries. Who dreams up these twists on french fries? They were amazing and another menu item I could have had multiple of. The third appetizer I tried were the mushrooms with the polenta cake. Their taste blew me away, and therefore, I would also recommend them. By the time I got my main course - the tomahawk pork chop -I was plenty satisfied. Nonetheless, I finished it off all the way to the bone it was so good. Overall, a marvelous experience and can’t wait to get down to the lake again to try all the other items in their eclectic menu. Way to go Riverbird. The Lake definitely needed a...

My husband and I were staying in Camdenton and decided to check out this local winery. The service was impeccable - our server was very knowledgeable on the wines offered and helped me pick out what to try for my wine tasting. My husband had the diver scallops and Caprese salad (pictured). I’m not a fan of scallops (much to the chagrin of my husband) but I really loved the little carrot and apple salad that came with them - I could just eat a plate of it. I had the fig and pear flatbread that was very tasty - in fact, I had enough leftovers that it was my “breakfast” the next two days! The view from the patio was stunning but we decided it was a tad warm for us to sit outside but our server encouraged us to walk around with our drinks while we waited for our food. It is a bit of a trek to get to by gravel road but we thought it...

Wow! What a find. It’s an adventure just getting there and they plan on doing a little roadwork towards the top of the winery but wow, once you’re there what an amazing place. Lovely patio with plenty of seating as well as an indoor dining room. We sat out once and ate in once due to heat but still had drinks on patio. The view is so lovely! Saw 3 eagles last time we were there. Overlooks river valley. Food was delicious and perfectly prepared. I had the fillet with asparagus and blue cheese potato coquettes. Took a couple of coquettes and ate them cold the next day…so good. Halibut was excellent as well as the cioppino! Really nice menu. They have a full bar in addition to wine. Servers were so friendly and helpful. Well worth the trip. Can’t wait to go and see it...

Incredible evening at Riverbird. Kaylee was excellent server, checking frequently throughout meal on our various items. Vidal Blanc and Cabernet to start the meal. Peppadew Pepper for a starter was simply outstanding. Previous occasion the starters were equally delicious: Charcuterie board and Riverbird Frites. The filet was properly seasoned, cooked to order, and accompanied by potato croquettes, roasted asparagus, and stewed shallots Walleye in butter sauce, with blistered tomatoes, asparagus, and roasted potatoes was absolutely exceptional. Bread served earlier left no trace of the sauce. Apple, caramel, and maple syrup bread pudding topped off a wonderful dining experience with Buffalo Trace Cream on ice cube. Will be back for these and more.
