The two guys who helped our group out were kind, funny, and seemed to know what they were doing. Even though they have a "strict" no photography rule, they didn't have a photographer that day and allowed us to take our cameras and phones (which I thought was cool). The wearable equipment was in good condition and I really have no complaints about that. But the day my group went ziplining, the brake system wasn't doing what it should and so instead of slowly stopping at the end of the ride, individuals were caught by one of the guys as they were coming in full speed. The result was VIOLENT. One guy mentioned that it was getting windy so they should put on the brake but the worker said "No, let's keep going fast!" That negligent decision resulted in someone from my group breaking a rib. I am so lucky I pulled out of the zipline last minute because who knows what couldve happened to me if I was riding a high speed zipline that comes to a full stop by crashing into a man's arms. Pretty dumb. So yeah, I bet a lot of these 5 star reviews are legit and true but the negligence of whoever helped my group that day is injury causing.
Edit to add that they're even worse than I thought. Look how leaving an honest review resulted in a weird response from the business. Also including a ticket photo to validate claims.
It's wild that instead of taking responsibility, expressing any concern, or offering an honest apology about their failure on the day my group went, they responded with a condescending explanation as if they're operating Wendy's twitter account. Pathetic. If I owned a Zipline business and someone claimed to be hurt during a ride, I would look into it. It's also concerning that they accuse me of not signing a waiver, as if they're negating my experience. This is a PREDATOR zipline, for sure. My experience is even worse as a result of their response....
Read moreJason(GM). About the whole incident that happened today. I, as a parent, was just wondering if this was a reality or a nightmare, not only in terms of the agony that my daughter and us went through but your reaction and situation handling that made me feel that how can someone who should be the main authority, especially when incidents like this occur, act with such a lack of empathy? I sincerely hope that no one else has to experience your insensitivity after an incident just so you don’t lose 25 dollars. All I hoped during this ordeal was you provide us your empathy and that you comfort us rather than showing us the waiver which everyone signs blindly. I understand that you definitely don’t want to be liable but the trauma that my daughter endured during this ordeal when she hung in the air literally for more than 15 minutes not zipping and enjoying but waiting desperately for someone to get her down because your equipment became faulty requires atleast the fact that you care. on top of that, she experienced a neck injury which almost led to her being put into intensive care. Special mention to two of your employees who went above and beyond to comfort and consolidate my daughter, which is all I had asked for from you more than anything else. Everyone watching this made sure that they let her know how brave and calm she was during this process. as a teenager who was there to have fun and share videos of her vacation, you had basically just told her that she shouldn’t go and enjoy zip lining because it is really scary despite the fact that the equipment reliability had been broken for her anyways. I can only hope that you and/or your family members do not experience such insensitivity and lack of empathy from anyone else. Best wishes and...
Read moreBucket list item ✅!!! If you’re looking for an experience that involves adventure, overcoming fears, fun, wildlife all in a professional and safe setting then look no further!!! Britain (sp?) and Eric were our guides and they were top notch! We were given a great orientation and they were very personable and fun and friendly, but also extremely professional when it came to our safety and making sure we understood everything that was going to occur . It was one of the hottest days of the year, but luckily, we started early and had some cloud coverage that provided us with some shade, but that is something to consider when doing this because you are going to be climbing a lot of stairs . You also are able to take a water bottle with you to stay hydrated. Since this was my first time doing a zip line, the first course had me shaking like a leaf when I landed, but it was nice to know that there were other runs left to do because each time it got easier, and I became more relaxed. The rope bridge was probably the scariest for me for some reason, but there was no way anything bad would happen to me and it was a very good feeling to overcome that fear once I made it across in one piece 😄 The whole experience takes two hours and you have plenty of time between runs to look out onto the park and check out all of the animals . Seth was our photographer for the day and i’m grateful to have these photos to memorize this experience! My friend and I did this for our birthday month celebration and I would definitely do it again given the...
