I guess this would be the 3rd. favorite lake of mine to fish in Ky. The lake is big and has lots of fish in it to catch. The size limit for Black Bass is 12”. Lots of Bass Tournaments are held almost weekly from March up to November, due to the size requirements for the Bass. The lake is clear as a bell and also lots of recreation boaters are on the water daily. If you like to camp, they have a really nice clean and spacious Camp Ground over by the State Boat Ramp area...

Green River Lake stretches across two counties. In Taylor County there is fishing, camping, hiking, two beaches, condo rentals, houseboat rentals, and floating cabin rentals. At the visitor's center, off of Hwy.55, there is a log cabin that was used as a field hospital during the Battle of Tebb's Bend. You can tour this building, as well as the civil war cemetery nearby. Adair County offers fishing, boating, and parks as well. The area is beautiful and...

Great gem for our county. It’s a Great Lake that features several marinas with boat rentals, jet ski rentals and guided fishing excursions. It has a fantastic mountain bike, hiking and horse trails to choose from. There are also several camping sites that are available to the public for some great family fun. There is also a pretty cool model airplane-landing strip at the entrance the state park. Lots of fun...

Me and my family love going to the lake and enjoying a Saturday on one of the beaches! I have coordinated events there and it’s a great place to use. The lake is beautiful to look at from the Dam and other lookouts. We will never stop coming to the lake for some time to relax. The beaches are definitely a great place to spend some time in the sun and let the kids swim!

This was an accidental stop for us late at night. No info at box for camping. So we took an envelope put in $20 and park ranger saw us in the morning. It was beautiful here and would go back ! Unbelievable beauty at this lake we woke to an awesome view! Wes the park ranger was very helpful to us.
