Amazing place to go for a hike, scenic view or camping. Large & beautiful. My only issue with national forests, is that they are not exactly as a map shows. They are in pieces & intermixed with state parks & residential homes. I personally think if you’re going to call yourself a national, state or residential area. You are as you present yourself & no confusion. It’s sort of a pain if you just want to enter a national area & go. With the mixing, you have to know each places guidelines or if fees apply. Which no should apply since people pay state & federal taxes (correct?). If you’re already paying, additional fees are unLawful. Let’s get complete federal, state & local audits started now to see where the money is going. If they’re having to collect more for maintenance. Which that is what taxes are “supposedly” used for.
