Lake George — Attraction in Canaan

They took the docks out when it’s still swimming season. Less and less picnic tables every time I go and the ones they do have they refuse to repair. My son hurt himself sitting down on a bench and having the other end come right up and he fell on the ground. Not a bad fall mostly just scared him. I took the bench and put it off to the side unattached. I come back a few weeks later and it was just put back on with 0 screws. Almost always huge chunks of grass clippings in the area before swimming. For a place that charges people I expect a lot more. Upper staff are always rude to interact with. Will not be getting another pass...

I love Lake George. My dad has a camp on this lake so I have been going there since I was a boy. Me and my son had an awesome Fourth of July there camping together. A small lake with 2 convenient beaches on either side. Good park on the Canaan side with room to move, picnic tables, clean beach and places to fish. The lake is a good place to catch white perch. There are camps located on the west side with undevelopes land to the back side...
