This is going to be a long one! First off, we had the BEST time! I can see how this place has been voted as one of the top places to have a birthday party. This past weekend, we hosted a birthday party for our daughter's 6th birthday party. From start to finish, the process was so easy and straight forward. One of my biggest concerns were potential accommodations and making sure that everything was inclusive for my neurodivergent kiddo and her friends. Any questions or concerns I had were promptly answered by Nikii.
When we arrived to set up, everything was super easy and not overly complicated. We were greeted by who I believe is the Grandpa of the farm. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name but he was very nice and even offered to help unload and let us know how and where to set up. We paid and selected our package and options way far in advance, so when the day came - we just had to show up.
Triskelee Farm was so good to us and our guests. We had about 35-40 people with us and that was perfect for the downstairs space in the barn. There were parents, grandparents, kids, teens and babies. We had a variety - even a family with a great grandma! She got to stay cozy and warm in the barn while we went on tour. We had plenty of space to mingle, eat and enjoy festivities.
Once all of our guests arrived, we started the tour - but not without drinks! We opted for the open bar option so that our adult guests (mostly parents) could enjoy a couple drinks. We were able to bring our drinks with us during the tour.
The tour was so fun for the kids! And for the adults too, actually. We got to see alpacas, goats, chickens, ostriches, mini horses and more. My daughter has a thing for chickens so Nikii was sure to stop at the chickens for her to pet and hold. I appreciated that. She loved seeing all the animals and getting to interact with them. We also selected the brush a "unicorn" mini horse add on. Totally worth it! All the kids did such a good job.
It was a sunny and beautiful day so everything just worked out so well. After the tour, we ate, blew out the cake candles and did a piñata. Mingled a bit and everyone went home happy. 1-3pm was the perfect amount of time to do everything. I at first was a bit scared we wouldn't have enough time and feel rushed, but honestly it was the perfect amount.
We cannot recommend Triskelee for a kid's birthday party, enough! We received a lot of compliments and thank yous from parents and kids and were told how much everyone enjoyed themselves.
I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Nikii. You can tell she has a mama heart and was just so kind, intuitive and sincere with the kids - especially with my daughter. A really special moment that I am truly grateful for is when my daughter, who is autistic, grabbed her hand during the tour. Nikii did not hesitate one bit and seemed to instinctively hold her hand back and continued on with the tour while engaging in conversation with her. She wasn't weirded out or put off by it, but instead, she leaned into it and had endearing interactions with my daughter and I'm pretty sure she will now always remember how kind farmer Nikii was. I know my husband and I will. Thank you...

You can sign up and pay on advance online. We signed up for the small group tour, which means up to 3 small groups, with each group having up to 6 people (carried babies are free), lasts for 50 minutes and costs $50 per group; it’s a max of 18 people total. They also offer a large group tour which goes for 1.5 hours, costs $10 per person and is a max of around 30 people.
This farm is a dream come true! It consists of three generations of family living together and they named it to honor just that. Their name Triskelee comes from the Celtic symbol, Triskele, things of three.
Nicky was our tour guide and she was amazing! Super enthusiastic, very patient and kind, great with the kiddos…including our kiddo who had a whole lot of big toddler feelings. 🤦♀️
We met lots of friendly animals and were able to pet and feed most! They had goats, sheep, alpaca, ostriches, rabbits, horses and a mini horse. Peacocks and chickens roamed the ground, along with their sweet doggos. Oh, and we arrived just in time to meet their little baby piglet who was 4 days old and so sweet to pet…her snorts were ridiculously cute!
We concluded our tour at the barn where they have a small gift shop, along with a bar. It was only 11am, so we weren’t ready for libations, lol, but for the future we’ll come back for a “Tipsy Tour” where we can do it all over again, with a glass of beer or wine in hand…and hopefully a happier toddler!
Remember when getting your kiddos ready for the adventure that it is a farm! Be sure to dress your kiddos comfortably in clothes they can get dirty, and also be aware that they will definitely step in some kind of poop because you’re wandering around the inside the animals quarters and getting up...

The tour guide remained very serious throughout the experience, showing no warmth or enthusiasm, which made the visit uncomfortable—especially for those of us attending with children. We never saw her smile or engage in a friendly manner.
The opportunities to interact with the animals were extremely limited. Children were allowed to briefly pet a baby emu, but were not given another chance afterward. The same happened with a baby alpaca—only a quick interaction was permitted before being moved along. Later, we were taken to the goat area, which was overcrowded and small. While my daughter was petting a goat, the guide looked at us with visible irritation, as if urging us to hurry. Her demeanor negatively impacted the overall experience.
Additionally, after a journey of over three and a half hours to reach the location, we expected better food options. However, only two miniature sliders (ostrich or lamb) were available for $18, served with a bag of chips or soup—none of which were particularly appetizing or satisfying. The portions were small and felt more appropriate for young children.
Other details, such as the lack of soap at the handwashing stations, showed a lack of attention to basic needs. But what stood out the most was the guide’s attitude—her lack of enthusiasm and distant behavior truly overshadowed the visit. It felt as though she did not enjoy her job, and that unfortunately affected the entire experience.
In summary, it was an expensive, poorly managed, and unpleasant visit. I would not...
