STOOOOOP!!!! Legit, you should stop here. We stopped at every pull of along the route to our destination, sliding rock, and boy, this one takes the cake. The view was so beautiful our traveling crew decided to park and eat our packed lunches and a Bible devotion right on the mountain edge. It was such a breathtaking, awe-inspiring view we couldn't resist.

One of the most beautiful locations to admire the Appalachian mountains, we recomend to check the weather forecast before getting there for sunset. I would say to be there arround 5pm if conditions are favorable to admire the sunset and bring a good coat with you. We arrived a little bit after and it was still astonishing. Hope you enjoy the picture.

Love the Blue Ridge Parkway and this was one of the best view points. Vistas are so wide and far you can stand for a long time just soaking it in. I'd recommend this as a destination for anyone close to Asheville NC. Go, take a folding chair, sit and look at beauty you can't find most anywhere else.
