Kids do have a lot of fun here. Staff is super nice. See pics on the website. One good waterslide, one walk-in pool that gets up to 3.5 feet deep with a kids slide/playground in the shallow. They like the huge bucket of water that dumps a lot of water over a group of people. Deep pool with small area with diving board and people are also allowed to play in this area. There is one lap lane, but most of the time, people are standing around in there or playing. Some days bushes full of kids come. It's impressive to see the adults sit the kids down, review the pool rules with them, and supervise their behavior. However, not all groups do that, and they can be too rowdy, and the life guards really don't stop all the rough housing. It was better than I expected except for a few things. Opens at 12. Get there early if. You are going to sit in a pool chair in the shade. They have huge umbrellas but not a lot of shady areas. There is only one umbrella by a deep water pool. Carbondale gets hot! People seemed to reserve spots in the shade at the picnic tables, too, by putting coolers and leaving junk on table tops while they were swimming. Maybe they could have a place for picnic baskets or cooler off the tables that you could get out when you are ready to eat, leaving room for others to eat. No food allowed on pool deck, but numerous times I've seen moms carry plates of hotdogs to their kids on pool chairs on deck. More than once, people have left food leftovers and garbage under the chairs. Could probably be monitored better.

24$ for 3 people? 1 4year old and 1 adult and the other adult visibly obviously is a senior but we never recieved a discount for her like we should have. They should make rules about leaving personal items and coolers etc all over the tables (as to hold a spot after they have already used the spot) while they are swimming that shouldnt be allowed... Not enough shaded spots to sit and eat at our snack and drink at because people left their trash and towels/cooler and cups scattered across the SHADED tables NOBODY USING THEM but they were all in the pool somewhere. The audacity of some people have such selfish behavior. I want to like cdale splash, I really do. Additional $2 to rent locker was as expected.... but said lockers are EXTRA small so that sucks and therefore makes it not even really worth the 2$. Next time we want to swim, I think were goin 2 Cape Super Splash cause at least it will be worth the drive AND money spent. Cape has a waterfall that runs over the edge of the lazy river and multiple water slides (5 lane water slides and probably multiple other kids slides which makes it better than Carbondale) I'll post pics of CAPE SPLASH so you can see for yourself. I read online that there are water slides are for ALL AGES at Cape. Hope this helps U people decide. Every pic in my review of cdale is of cape Girardeau Missouri splash park. Google estimates 46 miles from Carbondale to Cape. So a lil less than an hour to get there. 😬 Cant wait to take my little one there soon! 😊

We are from out of town and looked this place up to stop along the road. We’ve been stopping at water parks across the country on our road trip. We arrived shortly after they opened and the shaded seating was all taken. We found a shaded table only to be kicked off by the manager, who was extremely rude stating there are signs EVERYWHERE. Talk about a welcoming party. We are not used to rude people especially where we are from. We won’t be back to visit. Hubby got whistled at twice for not holding our 5 year old who knows how to swim, got whistled at again to get out, still not sure why. Can you clearly see the signs? We sure can’t! One star for the lady in the front checking our bags, she was nice. The rest was pretty bad compared to water parks across the country.

We went to the Splaah park today with 4 people, two adults, one 7 month old, and one 5 year old. Upon arrival they were at capacity and we waited in line as they counted people out and people in, was okay with me because when we got in the amount of people they max at is perfect for things to not get too crowded!Great ratio of people!

Kids section: Splash pad is nice and kids love the bucket dump and how it goes right Into the lazy river. Slide: Height seemed a little high 5 yo we had is big and some guards let him some didn't and he's well big enough to ride and has rode many many slides at 6 flags/Holiday world. But awesome slide nonetheless.

Lazy river: Awesome little river, could be faster but understandable, more floats would be nice but it was an OK amount was able to go two diff times with little wait.

Concessions: Pretzels were good could use more options and a better flow line was slow for normal things and hotdogs were almost always 10 min wait because they didn't have a bunch cooked/timed right.Overall not bad and ok pricing.

Big pool: Big pool is AWESOME, diving board and swim lanes make this awesome for everyone of size.

Overall: Facility is WELL kept, clean and greatly supervised, they aren't afraid to kick out people not abiding rules and I love that.Safe space for everyone and a great time for people of ALL ages. We love coming here and will continue to...
