Both of the sides are open now. Inside the large dog side, there are white wooden fences for the grass to grow still, which is good. They also seemed to have painted the water fountain, so it looks newer. Overall, the location has improved from last year. What's important is that my dog seemed to enjoy it, and despite going to the park after it rained, she wasn't too muddy like she did before. Enjoy photos of the dogs~

Really lovely dog park and they just installed genuine grass! A little in the small side from what I'm used to which are the parks in San Diego such as Dusty Rhoads and Kearny Mesa Dog park but the people who go there are a joy! Positive and polite. And their dogs reflect their owners. Be sure to bring your own poop bags because they run out sometimes. Saw a ginormous doggo pretending to be a Polar Bear sighting there!

It’s a beautiful park with lots to do, tennis/pickle ball -baseball soccer and football, paths to walk on - large and small dog park, but the grass at the dog parks is terrible.

Update 2: both sides are open.

Update: big dog park now open, small dog park now closed.

The big dog park is currently closed for sod renovation- it is scheduled to reopen soon. The small dog park is next and will be closed about a month.

We love this park! Lots of fun dogs and friendly dog parents! Seperate large/small dog sections, water fountains, and waste stations. Since it opened, we go nearly every day. The grass already needs replaced, and recently, with the rain, it's gotten quite muddy. But, overall, a great park to go! There are paved paths all around the park that lead to the playground, tennis courts, ball fields, picnic tables, grills, and park benches. Lots of flowers, trees, birds, and nesting Ospreys. So watch out for fish falling from the sky. (Yes, it really happened) Parking is kind of crazy especially on Fridays when the kids have sports, but in general, we always find a place to park. Handicap & stroller accessible. Clean...

Much improved most likely they have given up the battle of growing grass. At least on the big dog side. The small dog side has more grass vut less low spots. Always a fun time but I know when it's time to get my old girl (13-16) out of there 😉

Been coming back & it's a little less muddy. We were in the big dog side this time & about a dozen very friendly dogs & owners. People pay attention to their pups & aren't letting them get too rough. 👍

Muddy & more muddy. Big dog side had more aggressive dogs so we stuck to the small dog side with my calm 12 yo dog. Glad it was overcast because there isn't any shade yet. Still...
