Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course is a great par 3 course—perfect for beginners but fun for all skill levels. I was greeted like I was a regular even without a tee time. Berry in the pro shop was super friendly and got us set up with clubs, balls, tees, and drinks. The greens were well maintained, the pace of play was great, and even with some light maintenance on the back nine, it didn’t affect the round. Mimi at checkout was cheerful, friendly and even wished us a great day ahead. I’ll definitely be back to improve on those two 3-putts!

Nice little course. Perfect for working on short irons. $12 Senior rate works for me. Staff is very friendly. Lots of youth players and kick golf, so extra diligence is required. It's not as good for working on chipping though, because the greens are just too small, and don't replicate the typical shots you'll have on a big boy course.

This facility is great for the family and all skill levels (large driving range, putting/chipping green and fun 18 hole layout). Awesome staff, grill, and drink selections. My boys enjoy going to Coach Travis’s mini golfers class. He brings a variety of games, drills and stories to each class. Check out his classes and free assessment!

As I read these reviews I actually wonder if this is the same course I have played on the last two days. This is absolutely the worse golf course i have ever played on There are NO FAIRWAYS, just mowed weeds. The greens are just horrid, not take care of. The front nine is horrible and the back nine a tad better. This is like playing golf in a jungle. The water runs the whole time you are playing, I'm surprised they water the weeds. This could be a great course if it was taken care of but it just isn't. I think this would be a terrible place to bring a new golfer as they would be deterred from ever wanting to play again. I am sorry to give this review but THIS is a true review. My husband picked up 5 balls in the weeds that were not his. You can't look for your ball because of the unkempt conditions. There are gofer holes over the entire course. It wasn't cheap either. $34.00 for two seniors to play 9. I won't be back. I would rather go to a putt...

Really just want an explanation on why we couldn’t play today? Walked into the shop and was told we had to wait for a group of 15 soccer players that had a tee time, course was wide open on the front not sure why we couldn’t play before they arrived? Asked if we could start in the back, was told no too many groups making the turn, waited 15 minutes not to see a single person make the turn? Just super lame not rude about it just didn’t make any sense at all. Play here multiple times a week and they stack groups up and have never...
