We love this park! It's a bit of a drive but worth it. The sand play is amazing, and a very spacious shelter is placed well so you can watch the kids while in the shade. Or hop in the sand with them! There's also a place to rinse off (kids use it to fill their buckets with water to make wet, moldable sand as well). I recommend visiting earlier in the spring and summer before some burrowing wasps (not very aggressive) decide to build their homes in the sand later in the summer. Thankfully they usually stay in one area of the sand, leaving the rest to the kids. The playground is very creative too! I'm a little wary of letting my kids climb on the big climbing rocks as it seems to me there's not really enough of a soft landing...

There's not a lot of playground equipment for kids to play on - couple climbing parts, swings, and rope tower - but it does have a nice accessible ramp for kids to get to the "top" of the main structure. There's a giant sand box that runs diagonal across the play area, so be prepared for some sandy kids when they're done. People bring (or leave behind) beach shovels and buckets. There's also a nice trail that surrounds the park. Nice and clean, but for our kids (5 and 7) they need more playground equipment to climb on, hang from, and...
Read moreA very fun playground and park for the kiddos. There is a sandbox that runs through a "creek" through the center of the playground. It can get a little messy with kids playing in the sand, but they have a blast, and there's nothing quite like it at other parks. The sand is one of the main attractions, but there are still slides, and things to climb on and swings. There are walking trails that go by a lake. The park is clean and well kept. It is really a well maintained park that is fun for the whole family to enjoy the outdoors. I would highly...
