Remlinger Farms is a beautiful venue located on the outskirts of Carnation, WA. The farm is easy to reach from Interstate 90. After you exit I-90, you will be on surface streets. Because this is a predominantly residential area, it's important to drive the speed limit and drive like it's your neighborhood. We arrived early, hoping to tour the farm but everything, including their restaurant was closed for a special event, so no freshly prepared food was available. So we had two hours to kill. We ate our snacks and drank our pop, while baking in the ADA parking. At 05:20 we ambled over to get in at 05:30. This is where things got a bit weird. We were confronted by an "in charge" employee, who asked us why we standing there. I replied that this spot was shady. He went on to say that all the other people had also been waiting and we needed to go to the end of the line. I stepped off to the side because I was now upset. I had been told to go to the front by someone from STG and I would be helped because I'm disabled. I was now upset and because of my various conditions, I have to be careful about my responses to. I walked back up and talked to the other gate personnel. They let me right in and I was directed to ADA seating. I told the guy who asked me to step away that their signage sucked and he did to. I was in a great deal of physical pain at this point. Between the two of us, my wife and I have 12 surgical sites between us but we don’t have obvious signs of disability. We were led to a raised wooden platform with the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat on. Later in the show my wife’s chair broke and she fell onto the platform. It scared her to death and it hurt her. The platform was also in direct sunlight, so we cooked another 1.5 hours before the sun went down enough. I went to get food and drink. I tip, so $51 for two burgers, two Sprites, two chips and a fry (probably should have skipped the fries, we didn’t finish them) The two alcohol drinks were $27 with tip. The burgers were pretty dead, but there were condiments to try and revive them. My burger order was wrong but I was hungry. Their process is fairly streamlined and it’s all cards, no cash. Then the show started but it takes awhile, when you have several medical conditions to unwind and begin to enjoy the music. Lyle Lovett and his Large Band were wonderful and I had never seen him live. The sound quality was excellent. The band played many signature tunes. I couldn’t help but notice all the folks walking around, singing along as the band performed. Mr. Lovett knew many of the people at this performance, which made it even more intimate. Remlinger Farms needs to improve on directing people, signage and customer interaction. Everyone was working very hard but quality control and prices on food need an upgrade. The rules about 24” high chairs is also a bit silly. Remlinger should consider building up a slope to accommodate better viewing and to create a bowl effect that could significantly improve sight lines for a venue that's 70% festival seating. The expensive seating section is far too large. I could see Lyle Lovett but he looked pretty small behind all the premium seating. Photography is banned, which is ridiculous considering everyone has a 4k stereo, video and still camera in their cellphone. The venue had two professional photographers running around, so what's the problem with a DSLR? You couldn't approach the stage either. There's a fair amount of security in place. When the show was over, leaving was pretty easy and I-90 was accessible. I would give Remlinger Farms a C+. There's room for improvement and all large venues have ridiculous prices for food and drink. There were supposed to be water bottle filling stations but I didn't see them. Considering the number of people either employed for pay or volunteering there shouldn't be too many issues. The number of Honey buckets is inadequate and paper towels were out. Restrooms...

We have heard great things about this place over the years and today decided last minute to take our 3 year old son. I was blown away the second we walked through the doors. The lines at the registers were insane and kept hearing employees yelling about how you can’t enter without a wristband. We finally tracked down a young man and he said we had to wait in the long lines to get a wristband. Nothing was said about a map, or what they offered or anything. Being as it was our first time we had no clue where to go or what to do. Wish they would have told us that the Pony Rides were not included in the over $100 we paid for just my husband myself and my toddler. My toddler was so upset when we were told we would have to go back in and stand in line again to get a ticket for the pony rides. We opted to wait and do it later. Big mistake on our part, apparently the ponies shut down early, like 3pm early when the rest of the place closes at 6pm. We were also not told that their pumpkin patch was on the other side of the farm like a huge walk. And they refused to let us take a free small pumpkin from the gift shop. When entering the Family Fun Park there was only one restroom and it was DISGUSTING. (The one in the restaurant was also nasty and didn’t have toilet paper) paper towels all over the floor, the floors were super wet and slippery. Honestly a porta potty would have been cleaner. I really wanted to love this place but it was really hard to. My son had fun on rides he could ride on. But when my husband asked one of the operators of the ride how old he was the boy said he was 14. The amount of young teenagers operating rides with no adult supervision is extremely sketchy. The rides were not even completely stopped before they made us get off and loaded more people. We met a few adult Hispanic ride workers who greeted my husband in Spanish but we noticed they didn’t say anything to other guests. If you are used to normal theme parks this place will freak you out with the amount of carelessness that goes into operating these rides. There was ONE operator for each ride and then besides that we saw absolutely no employees. It seemed all the adults were working in the gift shop and all the teenagers were operating rides. The one and only decent thing we have to say about this place is the food at the restaurant at the end of the day gave them the one star. It was fairly priced and what we ordered was well made. The tamales were a hit and honestly the best part of the day. Once again we really wanted to love this “Family Farm” but it felt more like a money hungry establishment that can’t even have enough employees on an extremely busy fall day. Reading reviews this place was in its prime years ago, but has since raised its prices, and the quality of the place has gone down. Wish we would have loved it because it seems like it has soooooo much potential, but REALLY ghetto-ly executed. If you’ve never been I highly suggest you go with someone who has gone so you can figure out how to buy add ons like the zip line or pony ride. (None of us rode the zip line as my son was to little but we noticed it also randomly closed in the middle of the day about 3:30pm. Lots of super upset kiddos who were turned away. We drove an hour and 20 minutes and will not be returning. Nor will I suggest it to friends or family. The price point did not compare with the quality of service or the cleanliness of this place. Sorry Remlinger Farms, ya’ll need to hire some adults and some custodial...

This review is just for their Fall Festival of 2024.

TLDR; this place seems to just want to let everyone in but doesn’t have the system or staff to control the flow of the crowd. Only plus was the food wasn’t ridiculously priced like Stocker farms ($13 for garlic fries, burger and bottled water)

This is my family’s first time coming here, but my sister-in-laws family has gone here for the last 3 years. We hear before at 9:50am on a Saturday and they open at 10am. By the time we were ready to go in, there was already a HUGE line that curved around the entire large cafeteria area and to the automatic doors. Thank goodness is mover fairly quickly at that time. From that line, you get to someone who tells you to go to a kiosk to get your wrist bands, so you wait in that line as well. Within an hour from opening, everything ride had at least a 20min wait, which is super hard if you have kids obviously. There were not enough signage pointing to where everything could be found, you just kinda have to wander around lid to figure it out and there wasn’t a map either. There were no signs for directions ti the bathrooms. And by noon, there were too many people in their fun park that it was even harder to see the little signs they had for the places to get food or restrooms. By noon, it was no longer enjoyable to be in their fun park cause there was too many people all blocking walkways cause they were all in lines to either get food, ride a ride or got to the bathroom. We were there for about 3 hours and only had time to ride 3 things. It doesn’t seems like there are any workers roaming the grounds to help redirect the lines to where it wasn’t completely blocking walkways. Eventually we saw lines for rides reaching lines for food and it was chaos. Once we decided to leave the place to go get our pumpkin, we were redirected to park in another field that had traffic staff that couldn’t tell us if where we were was the best place to park for getting a pumpkin. Once we tried leaving that lot, there were no signage on which way the exit was so we went back to where we came from and we’re told where to actually exit. Also my SIL told me previous years, ticket holders get a free pumpkin, and this year it said it’s only 50% off with a wrist band.

Overall experience was really bad for having a toddler with us. The one positive was that the food surprisingly was not super overpriced. I got a burger, garlic fries and bottle water for $13. Another big farm I’ve gone to this year is Stocker farms, and although that one didn’t have as cool of rides, there weren’t ridiculous lines for things and the space is much more open. Even if there were a lot of people at Stocker farms, it never got crowded...
