My husband purchased a kayak from The Kingfield Ski Museum auction on 5/25. On the auction it clearly stated ALL items were to be picked up at the Kingfield location. After he bid and paid for the kayak they said to call to plan the pick up. He called the next day and spoke to Theresa Shanahan about picking it and was told that the kayak it actually in Kittery! He explained he only bid because we have a camp in the Kingfield area and are there often. She had a terrible attitude and was anything but helpful. She didn't care that the listing said it was in Kingfield. We were told well you can pay to have it shipped to you but you have to pick it up down there. My husband explained we don't go to Kittery and it is hours out of our way. They have no explanation of the fact that one thing is written on their auction site but will not honor it. My next letter is being sent to the BBB.

Very cute little museum that has all the info and artifacts about the history and evolution of skiing in Maine - which is the same across the globe, but interesting to learn about how skiing came to this region (formerly known as skeeing) from Sweden. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely...
