The park is fantastic! Beautiful, and clean! The people have been kind, and pups very friendly.
However, today after receiving unsolicited negative comments from a random man Iām hesitant to return. My dogs come here 2-4 times a day, for a little over a month now, and weāve made many friendsāboth human and canine. This morning, my 1-year-old German Shepherds were running through the large park, letting out a few barks. We were completely alone on the big dog side. Iāve seen plenty of dogs chase and bark at others from the opposite side of the fence, so I didnāt realize this would be an issue for the people of Carrollton.
If you see this, King of the Karenās, my dogs are allowed to bark. Barking does not make them bad dogs just because they barked at yours from the other side of the fence.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI reviewed before going. I was truly excited, even told my gf she was going to love this amazing dog park. Wrong. The pond was cycloned off, locked. The entire area around Mckinnish Park is beautiful...however the dog park is ordinary. Nothing eventful or special. It is a nice size, big square fenced area for both small and large dogs. But nothing extra. Instead turn on Mckinnish street, go all the way down and you will find a Natural preserve where your dog will enjoy the walk. Definitely don't drive out to Coppell, thinking as I did that it was going to be a marvelous dog park....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere are 3 parks... Small dog park...big dog park, and a common area in the middles with small ponds. The parks are a large size for all dogs to be able to run and play. The water fountains all work which is great considering some of the nearby dog parks have theirs shut off due to COVID 19. There are also plenty of bag stations and a dog wash station in each park. I took a star off for lighting. I know the parks close at sunset, but ballpark areas have plenty of lighting in the parking lot whereas the dog park...
