One Sunday morning I was struggling with the fact my son was gone! So I jumped on my Harley to take a ride and get what I called therapy, or blowing the cobwebs out of my head! For the last few years I haven’t spent much time in the public or visiting new places. I had no clue what this place actually was other than passing it in my daily routine, and I was’t sure what led me here that day! When I pulled up and I started to get off my bike a certain level of peace and calmness started to overwhelm me! I started out reading some of the plaques, as I made it to the middle and I turned and saw the footprints and the statue, tears started rolling down my face! I knew without a doubt that It was no mistake how I ended up there that morning! Thank you all that started and had a hand in designing and building this place! Thanks to Cassie, Ms Denise and the Austin Gray Memorial Scholarship Bass Tournament, the Ladies at City of CARTHAGE for all their compassion and understanding, in helping me put plaques out here for my kids that I tragically lost to a single car accident in 2013! My life will never be the same and I will never be the same person, all I know is God has defiantly toted me many of steps the last few years! I am so thank-full for..... He guided me to this place one...

Never have been, Never will be... Thank you God, for all the People that you have put in your path. But, most of all for this so-called "wrong turn" that made the whole family and the ones that were following us, realize that it wasn't a mistake, and it wasn't a coincidence, it was just a turned meant to be. Because of your grace and the power of God that I Truly believe. AngelMaryLou....

The drive took 43 minutes from our home and was pleasant due to there being virtually no traffic on the roads. The Monument is BREATHTAKING! So much detail and care was given by all that participated in creating this inspirational Monument. I myself, actually saw the back story on the Monument and the poem that moved the creator of it on KTBS 4th of July celebration on television and thought of how wonderful it would be to one day see it in person. It is TRULY a one of a kind work of art that I pray is pleasing in the eyes of God and brings conviction to those that make the journey to behold it. God...
