Kellogg Lake Park — Attraction in Carthage

One of the worst Lakes I have ever been to!! In fact myself and some of the locals renamed the lake mistake lake the fishing is terrible from bank or on a boat and it's shallow in spots you can hardly drive your boat across without dragging your prop...this lake needs redug and stalked constantly for it to ever be worth anything also would be nice to have a lake in this town we could swim in besides the polluted Spring river next door! And good faith I could not recommend this like to anyone not even for a walk from the fact that you might step in Goose manure seriously guys fix this mess of a lake more of a mud hole...

People really need to consider the impact we have on wildlife and nature. Trash and fishing line everywhere and a duck that came up to us to untangle fishing line from its leg. Its sad to think that 1)it even had to do that and 2) its clearly happened enough times that it recognized the only way to save itself from this man made problem is by finding friendly humans who will actually stop to help. We need to do and be better. Clean up your trash and your excess fishing...
