First I should say that the fella that owns the place seems to be a decent guy. That said, the park is not what it is advertised to be. First of all the address is incorrect and sends you around in circles. The access road is no where near the address that is given. You have to call to get directions and those were confusing as well. For someone that is not familiar with the area it will be a hassle to find your way in. We were expecting to hear the banjos playing at any minute lol. When we finally found the place no one was around. The "office" was open with a phone number posted for visitors to call for assistance. When he showed up he was barefoot with no shirt and a big mug of beer in tow. 🙄 The place seems to be a drop off for junk vehicles and the "camping" situation is debatable as the campers we saw were delapatated and definitely not usable. The open camp sites weren't bad looking. The porta potties were completely disgusting. There are actually very few trails in the park that are suitable for ATVs. There is a sand pit play area that is ok but gets boring fairly quick. The majority of the park seems to be more suitable for rock crawling trucks as the terrain is way to extreme for ATVs. We spent the majority of our visit which cost us $25 per person, out on local trails in the area instead of in the park. This place absolutely has potential but needs some...
Read moreWent here for a weekend camping not knowing what to expect. All in all it is not a bad place and we will be going back again. People are very friendly there and John is as nice a person you will meet. The place is more or less broken into two parts. The lower part is for ATV's dirt bikes and mud pits. The upper part is the trail riding. There are campsites for both upper and lower depending on what you are there for. The trails up top were not bad and for all levels of experience. There is no running water or power for camping so plan accordingly. They let you use the park 24/7 so if you are looking for quiet time at night camp in the...
Read moreThis place was kind of a letdown. Went there with our sport quads to have some fun thinking it was a big off road riding park but there's actually not much there and it'spretty small. Kind of hillbilly with a bunch of dead battered vehicles laying around and just a handful of trails, hills, and moguls to ride on. It got boring pretty fast. I give 3 stars only because there are a few other trails in the area that are pretty fun, and one that dead ends at a beautiful...
