Mack Manor — Attraction in Cary

We discovered Mack Manor a couple years ago when we were taking a scenic detour up N River Rd/Algonquin Rd to Fox River Grove. We enjoy seeing their Halloween & Christmas displays which vary & seem to grow every year. It definitely brings smiles and, at night during the Halloween season, a few screams but it can be enjoyed by the entire family - even the little ones. The family puts a lot of time and effort into creating and setting up the display which can be seen when one just drives by on Algonquin Rd. However, I think for one to fully appreciate it, you absolutely MUST drive through! It is definitely a little gem nestled into the northern Fox River Valley which is worth checking out every year. Also, although it's not required, they do have a designated place where you can provide a donation (and, with the time & effort & money they put into it, why wouldn't one feel compelled to contribute to ensuring the display is still here for years...

Very pretty, very nice experience, I took my folks here and they very much loved it. They have never experienced anything like this so coming here was a great first timer experience and for those who do go and enjoy house lightings such as this. I especially enjoyed the dancing snow man and Dancing Santa at the front porch. Feels pretty tight to go through but I managed with my car length being a little over 16 ft. Although it's only about 10ish minutes, it's very pretty, very nice, and I honestly recommend it to anyone to go. Check out the Facebook for any updates, they have a live radio...

We were in the area and happened to notice the amazing display! When we saw we could drive through we turned around and got in line. It was great!! We followed the instructions on the signs going in, which instruct you to tune in to a certain radio station to listen to their back up music/sounds and shut off your headlights.
