Iron County Historical Museum — Attraction in Caspian

WOW! Such an impressive museum! Sooo much to look at & read about. We learned so much about the area, homesteading, mines, ways of life, art, the people, & on and on. So many well-thought-out exhibits. Everything is presented in a way that is so enriching & interesting. Easily spent hours here. **Make sure you go through the entire building where you pay- easy to miss all the exhibits further back. Also loved all the log buildings & other buildings such as the train station, etc. Definitely worth your time. Worth...

Great Historical location..We ( myself, my daughter and my two teenage granddaughters) had a great time looking at all the interesting exhibits. There was a Lego convention when we went and I guess they have a couple of special events every year. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were a little disappointed that we didn't get to see the other gallery or the church I guess you have to ask ahead of time. All in all I recommend stopping ... This museum is a hidden gem in our way from bond falls to kitch-iti-kipi . This is a very local museum and rich in its exhibition of historical American lifestyle. The highlight of the museum is it depict of the town in its prime time where the iron mining industry is very prosper and profitable. We can see the rich culture, advanced lifestyle, sophisticated tools and delicate gadgets. It mixed so well into our trip and added a lot of cultural components to our natural viewing...
