Love this park - lots of different fields for soccer, baseball, tennis courts, etc. There’s a really neat playground with a “zip line” sort of deal and it has just been recently renovated and they’ve added a few new amenities to the playground which has made it bigger with more to do. Cool double swings (one for baby, the other for mom or dad or older sibling), and it has a pavilion that sits along a large pond with swans and plenty of ducks. The only issue would be there are quite a few areas near the playground that have huge fire ant piles. Not the best thing with little ones running around, so I hope they can fix that part (just having the people who run the grounds spray for them or something). Additionally, it gets VERY crowded on the weekends, especially when it’s baseball/soccer season. Parking becomes relatively difficult & there’s only one way out, so it sometimes takes 20+ minutes to get out of there - which is not fun with toddler/kindergarten-aged children. Still a very good park despite...
Read moreNice, nice park. Clearly a lot of thought went into its layout and redevelopment over the years. But one side looks like a palace: Fresh tennis courts, etc. The other side looks like it may have been redesigned as a consolation gift for the use of the tennis courts. Lots of potential, but I mean that in the sense that things are missing: More fresh paint and grills and better care to the walkways, etc. This is especially important since the areas in need of refreshing are probably where the neighborhood kids are likely to play, or children of guests might hang during times the community is hosting visitors for tennis. A little balance would go a long way to show a lot of love for everyone. My wife and I are new here from out of state and are searching for our final choice to call home. We look forward to hosting family soon, including the grands. This park provides hope, but only a distant one with other places nearby that clearly have been well cared for/upgraded in...
Read moreThis was one of the best parks i have been to in a very long time. We get there and first just circle the parking lot, which is over a mile long oval, and notice that there is an area for the 4-5 different sports. Then we park, and first go to the bathroom, its actually clean and in good order. Walk down to the dock where you are able to fish, catch n release of course. The view is awesome, and the also have a small rock patch about 50ft away where you can skip rocks. Then we head to the playground, and this thing was amazing. Not only do they have the normal stuff, swings and slides and bars, but this place was special. They had a zip line that was about 75-100ft, and it was actually able to support my weight. Plus they had an awesome little Merry-go-round, that seated 4 but had about 7 kids on it. All in all, this place was the best Park that I've been to in years, and Anthony had a blast....
