⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wadsworth Cove Beach is such a peaceful hidden gem! The shoreline is covered in small shells and pebbles—shoes are a must—but the upside is that the water is incredibly clear, even at waist depth. The water was clean, warm, and inviting, and the beach itself was quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a stroll, a swim, or just soaking in the beauty of the Maine coast. Quiet beach right outside of Castine. Wear shoes on the beach! We got out of the car and hadn't walked 25 feet down the shore and I stepped on a rusty old nail! We picked up several during our short walk there. Had to warn others with small children that came during our time there to be on the look out as well. Otherwise it was a quiet place to stop and dip our toes in for a few minutes

Not just the settler colony of Maine, but this is the ancestral homelands of the Wabanaki Indian Nations also. The oppressive settler colony of Maine should allow Wabanaki camping access to all public lands. Before they arrived and claimed our lands as theirs in the name of their god Jesus and his doctrine of discovery, we would camp wherever we wanted.
