Fairmont Terrace Park — Attraction in Castro Valley

the park is nice I'd give it 5 but the idiot that puts then bark in the dog area went there 2 and threw the ball with the dog and week later $127 later the bark splintered in her paws what a waste of space change the name to sitting park cause your dog cant run play on the bark doonboogle it looks pretty but waste of fencing and water lines to fountains waste did I mention that they have 2 fountains for dogs to drink i though what a great idea but didn't work so look in park i guess ok for kids but not dogs that run or a trip to the vet . just dont care about animals cheap surfaces covering won't take my dog there again its a special park but wasted space a lot of...

Beautiful park. I just hate that they took BBQ pits out, but I get it, the area is more open and the hills are more dryer plus we have more wildlife that can freely come down the hill, like Coyotes and Cougars. The one Big problem I don't like is how unsecure it is that the homeless old guy that lives just slightly up behind the park can just randomly come through any time he wants, where kids play and just go into the restroom 🚻 which is supposed to be secure but is still unsafe for our kids and pets. His being homeless is not my issue. His being able to access the park right near kids and pets from out of the bushes up on the hill...

The park is clean and conveniently located. Often the parking gate is locked, that’s why I gave this park 4 stars. The bathroom is clean. Thus is a great park for folks with mobility challenges.
