I don’t even know where to begin, because words truly fall short when describing how incredible my experience was at Hofmann Ranch . From the very first planning call to the final moments of our wedding night, every single detail was nothing short of perfection. As a bride, you dream of a day that feels magical, seamless, and filled with love — and that’s exactly what The Ranch delivered and so much more.

The venue itself is breathtaking — clean, elegant, and rustic in the most timeless way. Everywhere you look feels like a photo moment. The grounds were immaculate, the ceremony space looked straight out of a fairytale, and the reception area was set up beautifully and flowed so naturally from moment to moment. It was the perfect blend of charm, elegance, and comfort — our guests are still talking about how stunning everything looked.

But what truly sets The Ranch apart is the people behind it.

To our planning coordinator — I don’t even have enough words to thank you. You made every step feel possible, every worry feel lighter, and every detail feel important. You answered my (many) emails and questions with patience, kindness, and total professionalism. You kept things organized, on time, and calm — even when I was full of nerves. I never felt like just another bride — you treated us like family, and it made all the difference in the world. You were the reason our day felt smooth and joyful from start to finish.

To the banquet captain and your entire service staff — you were AMAZING. The service was top-tier and so gracious. Our guests felt so well taken care of, and so did we. The timing of food, the way drinks flowed, and the attentiveness to every little detail did not go unnoticed. You treated our wedding day like it truly mattered to you, and it showed in everything you did.

Every person we encountered — from the setup crew to the servers to the folks helping us pack up at the end — treated us with warmth, care, and genuine joy. It wasn’t just about doing a job — it felt like everyone was just as excited for us as we were for ourselves.

As a bride, I could not have imagined a better experience. Every single person on that team deserves recognition for going above and beyond, for creating an environment of trust and celebration, and for allowing me to be fully present and enjoy the best day of my life. l first want to start off by saying how sorry I am to all the couples that were forced to have their weddings under such terrible circumstances. This is my story and I hope it helps some future brides. My name is Samantha and i have dreamed of my wedding day like most others since i was a little girl, and when the day finally came and i had met my prince charming the Worlds pandemic took over and wedding planning became a very unpleasant experience. I was supposed to get married on Valentine's day of 2021, but that is no longer my reality. I had to cancel my wedding! I tried many times to reach out to Hofmann ranch by Wedgewood to postpone the wedding but all they are concerned with is their financial gain. This is very upsetting to me, but what is more upsetting is that the sales consultant that tried to tell me that weddings had been done and were safe to host, and weddings could not be postponed and if canceled all money would be lost. I had to really sit down and think about the safety of my son who will barely be one at the time of the wedding and my grandparents who are eighty years old. With this I decided the money was worth the lost. I later remembered the sales consultant was also supposed to have a wedding at Hofmann ranch this year. After a bit of research I have discovered that she was able to cancel her wedding for a later date in 2021, and this is when rage set in. This venue needs to be held responsible for taking people money and treating them unfair. How sad is it that everyone else must risk their lives for a wedding in a mask and you have paid thousands of dollars because they are unwilling to accommodate you, but their own employee can change her date without any problem! I was not asking for my money back, I was simply asking for my wedding to be pushed back! Please help me spread the word of how horrible this venue treats its guests! Im very conflicted between a 2 and a 3 star but I think Ill go with a 2 - honestly Hoffman is a very nice ranch but Wedgewood wasnt the best situation I could have imagined.

So for starters Ill talk about the photographer/videographer. We looked at the prices of Wedgewoodw “recommended/featured” photographer/videographer and then some others and even looked at the Wedgewood recommended one as a separate package outside of Hoffman. So we weighed the pros and cons of everything including price and opted to use the package Hoffman offered through their featured.

Well come to find out after the fact - they add a 22% surcharge so we pay basically the same amount, without 100% of the same stuff as if we booked Limelight separetely without Wedgewood brokering it. So we paid the same amount but got a lot less perks like annual shoots, some extra credits, etc. Had we known this up front we would have likely gone another route.

Then we opted for an outdoor weddint. Well there was a little bit of rain that morning which had gone past so essentially any chance of a wedding outdoor under the pavilion went out the window. The DJ flat out said they wont do it. As well they made no announcement the photo booth was open tucked away in the corner so more than half of our guests didnt know it was there so there was a lot of missed opportunitues.

Something we thought was cool was the “extravaganza” they invite you to to sample food/meet vendors. They scheduled us for ours just about 3 weeks before our wedding almost bringing a lot of stuff into a last second decision/rush. As well they encourage it to be bride/groom only but when we went there was entire bridal parties of 6-7+ people in a group basically forcing themselves in the front of everything so we didnt really get to sample half the food either.

Overall, Hoffman is nice but Wedgewood could use some better managing and organization. Having minimum prices and other things while also having a 22% fee thats not included in all that stuff really makes it difficult to manage when its not...
