A small day use state park that is mostly used for launching boats. But there is a very large pier to fish off of and a pavilion that can be rented out. The pavilion is very large and could accommodate a large group. There is a rocky beach next to the pavilion. I don't believe you are allowed to swim... but it provides an excellent spot for walking along the water and taking pictures. There is a small playground close by and plenty of picnic tables located in the shade of the numerous trees. There is also a well maintained restroom close to the picnic tables. Read morePros: A beautiful place with beautiful views to spend your day and get exercise and photos. Maybe do a little bit of shopping and water activities.
Cons: everything is very expensive and there's not much to do. You could circle the island a few times and see it all. Not many beach access points. The owners are definitely not putting money back into the place either.
If you enjoy the water and island hopping, I recommend it for the experience. I've been here multiple times through jet express, millerferry and by my own transportation. All are great, but but I enjoy the millerferry or my own transportation the most.

The parking lot over there is quite big, so you could do laps around that alone! There are also picnic benches and a pavilion so you can bring your food over there.
