Live pretty much right on this lake. DNR presence was a surprise the last couple times in my boat with the kids (didn't get their names but they were cool as hell). Kids talked to them and told them about fish. Forgot to register my boat and DNR guys said it wasn't that serious just get it registered before I brought it out again (I did 😊) had caught a Bass at legal length and was movin my boat and noticed a boat following me didn't realize it was DNR so I was looking and saw the uniform and anchored they measured the fish (14 inches exact) saw registration and Id and licenses and all was good. Even sat talking a few mins and found out there's a season for snapping turtles 🤔💭. Lots of fish to catch. Near the islands or cemetary are the best. Lake gets a little over algaed in spots about mid summer but other than that this...
