Bedner's Farm and Greenhouse, Inc. — Attraction in Cecil Township

In 2023 I contracted with Bedner's for an expensive landscaping upgrade. Everything looked beautiful through the summer season and in the fall, they came to replace some plants that had died. In mid-February, I started to call to set up a program for the Spring/Summer 2024 program. After several calls and no response, I reached out to another person at Bedner's. By the time they reached out to me, I was told the additional work I needed done (according to the contract) they couldn't do it until August 2024. We've been going back and forth on what needed done and a few proposals were sent to me. The costs were extreme. I asked that they only replace the items that needed replace as stated under the terms in their contract. The other day they send me another email saying they didn't want to do the work, and they were sending a check for $600.00 which doesn't cover much of anything. I left a message with their CEO that I wanted to talk with him directly. Today I received an email from their CEO that he wasn't able to call me because their power went out and their phones weren't working. WHAT A COWARD!! He could have used his cell phone to hear my side of the story. In his email, he stated they were sending me a check for $600.00 and the case is closed.

This past Saturday, myself and two friends and young daughter came to your community day vender event. This was the first time ever anyone of us visited your farm. We were so very impressed with our visit. Your staff is absolutely the best bunch of people I have ever met. Helpful, educated, polite and a joy to communicate with. We picked a bouquet of flowers, tasted and purchased wine and items from your vendors. I have passed on this information to friends whom have never visited your business as well and they said they will be visiting soon. I have to add that a young man heard me say that I didn’t believe so would be able to make it up the hill to pick my flowers, he took the time and personally took me up the hill in a cart. Stopped by today with Mom, big selection, prices fair, only gripe if it is one is i was asked for my last name upon checking out and if i was using the app, look folks this is just flowers and veggies, im not using an app or giving you my name to buy stuff so you can track my purchases, I won't be back. UPDATE! so the basil I paid to much for has wilted, Ive been raising herbs for over 30 years and this is the first time I ever had this happen, also I found the rosemary for $2 cheaper for a pot the same exact size and it was 5 times taller, this was at Wagner's Greenhouse in Hickory PA, the same herbs I bought at bedners were considerably taller and bigger at Wagner's, also everything was much cheaper, do yourself a favor and check them out, 162 Skyline Drive Hickory PA, they are a small family run operation that truly cares about the value and quality they provide to...
