This isn’t a bad little “lake” considering we’re in Iowa which for the most part neglects it waterways. Two boat landings can accommodate small boats, kayaks or canoes. It’s not big enough for to waterski or jet ski so it’s usually quiet out on the water. Rarely have I seen someone in the water but you occasionally will. Theirs a campground on the north side. A disc golf course on the south side. Theirs a couple shelters for use as well 2 public restrooms. A few short walking trails on the SE side as well as a recreational trail that loops the lake with a trail spur heading north of Big Woods. A trail also heads to west North Cedar and to the south a trail will take you to downtown Cedar Falls where other trails...
