C Overlook - Iron Hills Trail System — Attraction in Cedar Highlands

I parked at the bottom by the trailhead and hiked to the C last summer, and it was honestly one of my favorite hikes I've ever done. Quite challenging, as I feel like I am in OK shape and it kind of kicked my butt. It was two hours up and maybe an hour and a half back down, but there were benches along the way to relax and take in the views. I really love this trail head. I’ve driving up the hill off road and on road. Once at night and the other during the day. We took a Can Am Maverick, and the second took a Toyota Corolla - on road (very much needed to be careful) it’s a dirt road. As we made our way up it was very peaceful, an absolutely amazing experience, great outlook. I prefer the outlook at sunset or at night, great for astrophotography. Very cool scenic overlook. The gravel road to the top can be accessed by most vehicles. Saw a minivan and Tesla at the top. The road to this lookout is gravel. Beautiful views. One bathroom facility.
