Our first time camping as a family, and we ended up at Lava point around 9:30 a.m. There was only 6 spots at this first come first serve location -with only 2 available at that time. Super easy to register once you get there and very clean. Even the restroom was surprisingly clean upon arrival. It got kind of smelly at times because it was not a flushing toilet. Our campsite was mega spacious and enough distance from neighbors so no one is really disturbed. There are a few trails from Lava point with breathtaking scenery and wildlife surrounding you.
