We always have a nice and private experience. You may see some folks but that's florida. Fishing is popular here. There is a long beach for full sun, and a small trove of trees that give partial shade in the AM. Plenty of spots for tree hammocks if you walk far enough. It's only a few hundred yards walk to the water, and a few hundred more to the shell point to the north. Enjoy it! No fires or camping but it's a great quiet beach to relax on. Dolphins, plenty of fish, crabs, oysters and you'll see some deer if you're sneaky enough. P.s. still love this quiet place.

People weren’t kidding when they said this place was a hidden gem! Beautiful white sand with really interesting driftwood displayed all long the beach. It’s really off the beaten path, but it’s worth the drive if you’re looking for a peaceful and private day at the beach. You can soak up some sun or go fishing! There was a lot of shells in the water so it was hard to swim without hurting your feet, but there were a few spots where you could get into the water if you looked for them.

Beautiful spot on the gulf to go enjoy a nice quiet walk along the beach. The trail to the beach is still washed out, but you can drive to the campgrounds and park to get to the beach. This area is still damaged by the hurricane last year. Looks like they are trying to clean the area up and hopefully get the campground going again. We love going to this park because it is so peaceful. Great area to go fishing. We love living in Florida. There is so much to see and do.
