One of my newest, favorite trails ever. It's stunning!

I went to the Indian Mound and then followed the Rim Trail further in, all the way to Cedar Cliff Falls. They are STUNNING. I had the whole place to myself unbelievably.

On the route back I took the lower Gorge Trail and I can't recommend this enough. The views on the river like creek are just magical and so much to explore.

All in all I clocked 4 miles venturing off onto each side trail before looping back to the...

I unknowingly discovered the Adena Mound after hiking from nearby Cedarville Falls. There are close to 100 stairs leading to the top, and one of the few remaining preserved Native American Burial Mounds left in Ohio. Dirt trails for any able bodied adult or young kids lead to a Gorge area with stone cliffs. Some of the Brassfield Chert was likely used by the Indigenous People for making tools. Bug repellent is recommended. Local flora and fauna add to the...

This is a really nice park odd a main road in Greene county. The trails are nice and well kept. I have been here a number of times to hike and see the Cedar Cliff Falls. They have lights up this Holiday season...for the first time I think. They are modest, but hopefully will improve with time. The falls are lit at night which makes for some interesting pictures. They have cleared back the vegetation near the falls and added some very...

Great quick hike…1.1 miles round trip. Indian mound is pretty neat and the view is the winter is nice. Not sure if the fully leaves trees would block the view in the summer, but worth the walk regardless. If you have a longer time would recommend up to the mound and back down the Gorge Trail, good combo. Thanks to UNESCO for highlighting these long neglected treasures around Ohio.
