Mostly a quiet little lake that you can kayak the perimeter in just a couple hours. Clear water with no invasive species. The fishing is good, although if you are seeking the “monsters,” you’re probably better off with the larger lakes. Only one public boat launch which can handle moderate sized motor boats. Because we’d like to keep our lake invasive free, please check your boats and trailers before and after visiting any water body. On the weekend during the summer we have a Lake Host program that offers free inspections and education on what to look...

A beautiful pocket lake. If you can find a place to rent for a week or two, it will be a treat of a lifetime. Crystal clear and not very weedy, it it generally deep. Just watch out near the edges as there are many hidden boulders. September see a significant decline of boats and people. A great place to kayak then. Circumnavigating the lake is...

The perfect spot to kayak. Super east put in (sandy, shallow slope into the clean, clear water). Lovely shoreline featuring a few lakeside homes and dense forest of pine and deciduous trees. No jet skis. A few anglers hoping for some luck. Good parking on a Sunday morning....

A beautiful pocket lake. If you can find a place to rent for a week or two, it will be a treat of a lifetime. Crystal clear and not very weedy, it it generally deep. Just watch out near the edges as there are many hidden boulders. September see a significant decline of boats and people. A great place to kayak then. Circumnavigating the lake is only 3.5 miles.
