This was a great place to stay in our RV for the price we payed for a month. Our neighbors were mostly great, friendly people. There were some concerns about drug use, but we didn't have any serious issues while we were there. The bike trail was nice and having close access to playgrounds and open fields was great for us, the kid, and our dog. You have to watch out for skunks at night, but for the month we were there, we only smelled one once. The toilets and showers could have been cleaner/updated, but we hardly ever used it. They have laundry on site, but they only have one washer and dryer where we were at. Again, we had a washer in our RV, so we didn't have to use it.

With all of that, we overall really enjoyed our stay here. The scenery was great, and we had some great neighbors who were friendly and helped...

It's an OK experience. Free washer/dryer is included for campers however only 1 of each so good luck getting a load in. Quiet, rarely any police required disturbances. Dog park is horribly maintained (gates aren't all functional or lined up properly)and some pets could escape pretty easily. If you don't have a great a/c unit on your camper it might be difficult to keep cool, most of the shaded lots are crowded or taken so might wanna look elsewhere. They don't always do a good job mowing and weed-eating near the campers so you might have to move picnic tables and firepits and flag them down. Also the county inmates do that so if that makes you uncomfortable, you also may want to look elsewhere. They block 1 of the 2 ways back to the camp area nearly every time an event is...

Stayed here with my daughter for a concert at Beaver Dam Amphitheater. It was super private and gorgeous. Everyone was very nice and respective. The only thing I would have to complain about would be that there was no electricity where we stayed in the campground and the showers didn't work very well. I told the office this when I checked out and they didn't charge me for my entire visit. They were so nice and told me not to worry about it since I didn't have the things they had advertised. They were going to let maintenance know of the situation and they would fix it. LOVE OHIO COUNTY STATE PARK!!...

Very nice park, well kept grounds. The only drawback was there was only1 washer/ dryer for the area. They were broken. Fort Hartford was very interesting. Overall the camp was quiet and peaceful.
