A wonderful place to wine and dine! Live music on Friday evenings sets the perfect mood, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a long week. With ample space to relax at the edge of the wilderness, it offers a truly amazing setting to enjoy a glass of wine or beer in peace. Don’t miss the wine tasting, a unique experience made even better with a descriptive session led by Mr. David. The pizzas and baked goods are delicious, you will likely find yourself ordering more! Spend some time, relax, and hop into the wild charm of Wild Sun.

Beautiful hidden gem of a winery in Pevely, MO! Nice people working there who are knowledgeable about the wines. Limited menu but food was good. Wine only available by the bottle - not a problem for us! The grounds are well maintained and offer gorgeous views. All dining is outdoor so something to consider depending on weather. Plenty of covered areas. The owner did say wanted to put some fans in and enclose part.

Great place. I love the idea of purchasing the wine glass then returning it when you're done. It enables them to give you a nice glass to drink their great wine out of. The patio with the fans is a comfortable place to sit on a warm summer afternoon. I did not have the pizza but I passed by someone who did and it looked delicious. The live music was great. This was our first time and we will be back.

This place is an absolute treasure: a nice, rural setting - complete with several tiers of seating, including a nice rolling lawn and barn area in which you can bring your own chairs or a tablecloth or blanket. You won't see vineyards, per se, however the wine is very good - and made on site locally. The owners and staff are all very friendly and involved with making your visit a nice and memorable one. On weekends and other occasions, they bring in some musical acts from the local area and in general they are all quite good. Great to listen to if you want to, not loud enough to intrude if that's not your thing. Aside from that, the grounds are ample enough you can spread out. They do ask, and I think it's quite reasonable in light of all that you get for your time there, that you purchase any liquid beverages, including water or iced tea if you so desire, from them. They do allow you to bring in your own snacks and crackers and cheeses, but let me tell you, they've got a killer chocolate cake offering also. You can also get other foods there for lunch or a light dinner. Highly...

Very nice winery, a real jewel within easy driving distance of St. Louis (about 35-40 minutes from Wildwood). Nice selection of very nice wines. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful setting. Comfortable, bistro-style tasting room, with a fireplace. The main building is a stately old house that stands in the center of a picturesque ten acres. The large auxilliary parking lot speaks of Wild Sun Winery summers. There is live entertainment, of course. Multiple levels of outdoor seating surround the building on three sides, and a "Biergarten" stands behind. (Oh, yeah, they brew beer, too!) If you wish to bring your own food you may, but you may also select from a variety of high quality meats, cheeses and hummus there. If you prefer hot food, you can purchase that, as well. They have a full-service kitchen. We are figuring on many...

Their is no table service offered here but it's very convenient to order food and drinks at the same order window. You get your drinks right away, grab a table on their large outdoor patio, and then wait for your pager device to go off to get your food. The counter service is fast and friendly and the live music has always been very enjoyable. Their setup for this is awesome in that you can sit as close as you want or further away to still hear it in the background which affords you a decent table conversation with out having to talk loud. If your in the mood while in the Hillsboro/Festus area for a fun and entertaining night out you should definitely check...
