Central Sports Park — Attraction in Central

The new Central Sports Park is a real home run! It’s well taken care of, well lit, and run by friendly people that are engaged in what’s going on! The turfed field are a laundry doing parents dream, and even the t-ball fields are nice. And did I mention the complex has clean bathrooms, which as a dad of 4 little kids, is a dream come true! Gone are the days of holding your breath and hoping you don’t contract a rare disease from just walking through the bathroom doors like when I was a kid! It really doesn’t get any better than watching your kids ball out at future MLB MVP levels, but it sure is nice to do it at a well built, well kempt, well run sports complex. Bravo Central Sports Park....

Update::: This location has reopened and is operating at full capacity. It appears to be well maintained. The geese have also turned it into their sanctuary.

Its closed due to construction right now. The nice guy working there says that there will be more turfed fields after the construction is completed. So All the fields will have astro turf. It's in a pretty wooded area, has water areas for fishing, walking trails and its home to snakes. The grass is cut, clean,...

Nice baseball facility. I only have a couple of issues with the park.

1. I'm not a fan of all dirt infields with no grass. I'll admit that is a personal preference, though.
2. Please, PLEASE put up covers over the stands. It's not even the hot season yet and at a temp of 94 today the parents were dying and most of people brought canopies for cover. Not everyone has access to the benefits of those. Overall, I think that it's a...
