I came on a Friday morning in November, the last day of the tour for the season. It was a crisp cool day and the leaves were in full autumn splendor. From start to finish, this tour was a joy. Our guide was warm and welcoming, and paced the tour well. She was patient with questions and had a slew of extremely interesting stories and quotes from the Kuerner family and Andrew Wyeth. Adding to the charm were the goats, a cat and several open air painters on the property. As a life long Wyeth fan, this was an absolute dream that I will remember forever. Highly recommended. Buy tickets in advance; I recommend becoming a member.

While I was not able to tour the farm, it was still quite extraordinary to stand from the top of the hill and appreciate the perspective and to see this iconic place made famous by Andrew Wyeth.

Your take the your from the Brandywine Art Museum. The farm is significant because many of the Wythe paintings featured this farm and the hill across the way. An amazing amount of history here
