Did some trail restoration on garden creek trail in 2018, it was a 3 week job and honestly one of my favorite places I've been. The hike in was 8 miles with 30ish river crossings in the first 4, it hailed on us while we were hiking in, our crew leaders both hiked off to call in and make sure we were in the right area and the rest of my crew and I just sat in the river while it hailed. Someday I hope to go back with some of those crew mates and camp for a while without the work.
