LOL OKAY WEIRDEST DOG PARK + POLICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Decided to go to the dog park this afternoon in the middle of a snowstorm and walked away with a random ticket for a license plate violation?! There was an officer checking park passes which I have and happily showed him I paid my $45 dues for the year... but then there was a 2nd officer sitting there poaching cars and writing up tickets & I think towing cars (there was a tow truck parked there too). this is the 2nd time I’ve seen him in the last 2 months & apparently today was not my day. haha I just got a written warning for not having my license plate properly affixed to the front of my car... on a random Sunday afternoon in the middle of a snowstorm.... at the dog park. Okay yeah I get the request or whatever but we’ve had the car for 6 years and never had an issue with my license plate before. Officer was nice enough about it but still why am I getting in trouble with this randomly by the DOG PARK police?! One of the weirdest police interactions of my life. If you go here make sure you’re on the up...

This is an amazing dog park with walking trails, open play area and swim area in the summer. I take my dog here almost every day and have fun with the other dogs. Please note that the park is family friendly and I enjoy seeing the kids walk around with their dogs and family. It can get busy with lots of dogs but we’ve seen nothing but good for over a year of coming. I’ve never seen an issue with the kids until today. It is a dog park and not a kid park. If you are letting your kids run around screaming, throwing sticks and not staying close to you can’t fault the dog owners for the dogs getting excited about that and tell people how poorly the dogs are trained. It clearly states in the rules on line- Children ages 15 and younger must be supervised by an adult. Please let this wonderful place be for the dogs and use a playground for the kids to run and scream so the dog owners who use it can continue to. Yes, I am also a...

Great dog park. I have been coming here for decades. We moved nearby partly because of our love for not only this dog park but all of Elm Creek. I cannot give this dog park a 5 stars, however, because I have had multiple times where people do not leash their dog while leaving, making my dog upset. There have also been lots of people neglecting to pick up poop on walking parts of the trail. Also there is an area within the main area (not fenced off) that is EXTREMELY muddy and the dogs seem drawn to this spot. It’s honestly not that big of a deal, a messy dog probably means a successful outing, but it does feel odd that this dog park fences off the swimming area yet my dog gets most dirty within the main area with this mud hole.

Ultimately this is the best dog park I have been to and I will bring my dog here for years. I would like to invest if possible to help maintain the upkeep...

We love this dog park because it’s so big. You feel like you’re on a nature walk with your best buds. The trails are plentiful and there are lots of trees for your furry friends to pee to their hearts content. I have never ran into an irresponsible owner here, like at other dog parks. When you’re on the trails, you can go quite the distance without running into too many people, huge plus for you introverts! There’s a fenced in pond for those that are into that (retrievers seem to love this area the most!) There is a small/frail dog area that is decent. The shared watering area is a nice amenity for those hot days and it’s separated by a series of gates so if your fluff doesn’t like sharing bowls, they can do it in a safe enclosure. The fee is $6 per 16yr+ person, which is kinda ridiculous...kids are free but should be leashed (just kidding). This park is always a favorite for my puppers.
