Tumbleweed Park — Attraction in Chandler

I attempted to read reviews on Tumbleweed Park, Chandler without putting on the McQueen or Germann Rd addresses. Usually with Google Maps it will show more. Not being able to look at reviews I drove in on McQueen and drove out on German. It did not look appealing and I just drove around. Putting in McQueen or Germann it appears to be one park or people are just putting photos that are from the same park. It would appear I should have tried to locate a directory because the signs, in my case, did not help. Obviously it is one of the larger parks and seems to be mostly flat. The tennis courts are numerous and at the highest level. Large number of fields for sports. Very good playground. My first impression was it was a little bit like a town green,...

Tumbleweed Park, 745 E. Germann Rd Chandler, AZ  85286; the softball fields. Wow! Wow! WOW! Though you must bring your own chairs/seating, the spectating area is perfectly tiered in three (3) rows and covered.

The fields and surrounding areas are pristine. The fields are multifunctional that can transition for / from youth sports to high school to adult league (315 feet). Sooooo Nice!

The restrooms were plentiful and clean. Parking was a challenge, but the space planning was maximized; so they did what they could do.

The softball fields and space were simply VERY nice. We enjoyed an afternoon game...

We love Tumbleweed Park! We live far from it, but go out there once a month for an educational program at Tumbleweed Ranch. The park is great for kids of all ages. There are different playgrounds for little and big kids. A fossil digging area, swings, and big fields to play all kinds of sports in. If you're going to visit Tumbleweed Park I would plan on staying several hours, there is a lot to do, my kids never...
