There are plenty of places to take your kids to get a pumpkin, but none of them are as family-friendly as Dollinger's. This fabulous local farming family really understands how to make customers feel welcome.
There are so many wonderful things to see and do. Very kid friendly with plenty of FREE activities for your kids to enjoy.
Love the petting zoo and the area where kids can climb on haybales and get really worn out.
The gift store is absolutely adorable. Festive items to purchase to decorate your home along with their delicious fudge and other scrumptious seasonal treats. I personally LOVE the chocolate cherry fudge. Soooooo good.
Pumpkins are everywhere making it a great place to photograph kids and family. The pumpkin selection is huge and the prices are very fair.
The family hosts wonderful programs throughout the fall open dates. Check the website to see what is happening before you go.
The property is historical with loads of old agricultural implements on display. The old mule barn is stunning and very well preserved. I personally love the family cemetary. Very picturesque property. It is really beautiful and worth a trip out just to see the grounds.
Their mums are only $6.00. They are big and beautiful and come in a bunch of colors.
I had never had their hot food before and decided to get an Italian beef sandwich. It was good and it filled me up so I wasn't tempted to eat my carmel apple or my fudge. They have pizza and other fast food to offer hungry humans.
This really is one of the best fall attractions in the area. They do NOT charge admission. They do charge for the hayrides and the corn maze. Check website for fees.
There is nothing better than a family trip to Dollinger's. It is a beautiful location that makes you...
Read moreHow do I get ahold of owners? The "person in charge" 10 minutes before I posted this gave me inaccurate info when I called prior about which forms of payment are accepted. I was told credit cards and cash. Nothing about them bot accepting american express, which i made 2 payments in snack shed prior with this Card. Went to gift shop, was going to spend $40 and promised my 2 ½ year old a toy, only for her to tell me they don't accept american express because they charge too much. Had to make my toddler put back what I told them they could have which resulted in him throwing a tantrum and bawling his eyes out over her inaccurate information. I called to speak with someone and said that I don't trust she'll pass the info along and asked how to get ahold of someone or speak with someone else since I was able to pay fine in the snack shop, and it was her error for giving me misinformation which all could have been avoided, had she told me they don't accept american express, and she said "I didn't give inaccurate information, I told you we accept credit cards. I have no way to transfer you" and hung up on me. She could have apologized, or allowed the purchase given she had been the one to make the error, but she thought it was more worth it to argue with me and not give me any solution but tp yell at me on how I WAS wrong. I wouldn't have come with that form of payment if I was given accurate information. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service, and tremendously RUDE with no accountability or problem solving skills. I guess she was fine seeing my toddler cry over her mistake rather than solve the issue or even apologize or take accountability for her error. October 8, 2025 @ 1pm. Whoever was in charge at...
Read moreDO NOT GET INTO THE RIDICULOUS DOUGHNUT LINE !!!! We went there with 3 families together yesterday and wanted to try their so called famous doughnuts. Me and my sister in law waited in the line for one and a half hours, mostly under the sun. When our turn came I asked for 4 bags of doughnut since my group was large. The woman at the register responded by all yelling and rude saying that we can only buy 3 bags max per group!!! I said that I have a big group and said that I have waited 1,5 hours here but she continued yelling . I asked if my sister in law can buy one more bag and she said no !!!! So If you have a limit on your ridiculous doughnuts, where is the sign at least letting people know before they enter the long line???? There is no sign indicating the limit and you surprise your customers with this news at the register with a very rude person. After all these happened I have walked around and outside of the shop and checked to see if anywhere they have said about the limit, but couldn't see any!!! This is not how you run a business!!!!! The farm is old nothing to see or do also, WHAT A WASTE OF A DAY for all of my family members. Do yourself a favor and stay away from...
