Wow! Just wow! I discovered this beach for the first time today and I’m in awe! The water was sparkling green blue and I was tempted to dive in despite it being 52degrees. I walked the expansive beach which is an excellent place to exercise which is what I came to do. The parking was easy, of course it’s off season, but it is a quintessential New England beach parking situation. I imagine you’d need to come early in the summer to get a parking spot. The beach is clean though I did do trash pickup for pieces of plastic that the tide had brought in. The beach is quite long and there is plenty of space to enjoy yourself. I felt like it’s an excellent place to come to relax and have a picnic. Overall, it’s great beach vibes, natural beauty and teaming with wildlife. I’m looking forward to many fun days here in the future!

This is by far my favorite beach in Rhode Island. It such a sweet spot near Dave's Coffee and has the nicest, cleanest, beach. The only downside is you do have to get here extra early for parking because by 9:30 (especially during high season) the parking lot gets full. I highly recommend carpooling and coming in a small vehicle. Makes your chances of finding working even better. There aren't any nearby places for food or drink so pack a cooler and bring it over with some snacks. No dogs allowed during peak season. Must pay for parking. They take credit cards. Lifeguards are available in certain parts. Very quiet beach and a perfect spot to come relax in the summer.

Absolutely lovely beach. First time there, went solo. I love serenity at the beach so I typically arrive early and hike away from the entrance. There was a line down the road which spooked me a bit; but it happened to be that the gates weren’t open until 9 on the Tuesday I went. Great beach, absolutely perfect. Smooth sand, clean water, boats passing, plenty of room. Limited parking but I arrived early and left at 12 when it started to fill. 10/10

Very clean beach. Hardly any rocks or shells. Waves are usually pretty large and strong. Parking usually costs $20. There are bathrooms that close at 5pm with an outdoor shower to rinse your feet and self off quick before heading home. There are life guards on duty from 9am-5pm. Good place to boogie board. Don't recommend little children going here as the under toe and waves are too strong. Very peaceful and less crowded than Misquamicut.

Super clean, beautiful Aqua Marine colored water, awesome waves but not suitable for surfing to shorebreak is extremely powerful and Powerful serve, but really fun waves and friendly staff, very very very clean bathroom, and even helpful lifeguards who are very well acquainted with currents and what to look out for. I love this beach and I go there a lot. Great for photography.

Very clean and beautiful beach. It gets really busy but it is well organized. The beach is open till 9pm but the main restrooms close at 4:45. You can use the portopoties after 4:45. My son loved running into the water but the waves are relatively strong for toddlers so stay close to them. Parking lot gets full fast so get there early or be patient for spaces to open up.
