As crazy as it might be, this could possibly be the highlight of my Michigan road trip. Just happened to look over and see this coming into town. I was just tickled to see it. I've been to Casey Illinois where they are putting together the world's largest everything, but I don't think they are ever going to outdo Charlevoix with the world's largest cherry pie. Pretty cool!

A very interesting stop. I just pulled into the fire station and parked right next to it. One of the top 20 bicentennial events in the nation. I surprised my wife with it. She had no idea this existed. It was a nice pit stop excuse to stretch the legs as well! It was the cherry on top for this trip. Lol.

My friend was so entertained and amazed by this big pie pan and all the facts that are posted next to it about the huge record-breaking cherry pie. It was something neat and unexpected to stop at for 10 min as we continued north.

A perfect roadside break to chill and wonder about this massive dessert and making you wonder - why ? I did see others stop to snap pics. This tops my stop I had in Wisc. For their largest burger made in 2021 for a 250 lb cheese burger celebration. It's these kind of events that make it worth it to Hitt the roads...
