PEOPLE STEAL IN THIS COMPLEX!!! DONT MOVE HERE, THERE WAS JUST A SHOOTING ACROSS FROM MY FRONT DOOR!!! I have infant twins and for there to be a shooting literally feet away from my front door where my children are sleep Im more than happy to leave. It has been an eerie feeling since it’s happened. Knowing someone was shot and killed feet from my door gives me anxiety. This complex doesn’t care, I was pregnant earlier this year and my twins were born prematurely and were in the NICU. I was on leave and the office manager Natalie knew this. I asked multiple times for help or for assistance with no avail. Crisis only offers but so much and they wouldn’t work with me AT ALL. I lived here from May 2021 to Aug 2023 and it has been nothing but issues. My rent was never late and the one time I need help they basically said “if we do it for you, we have to do it for everyone” but hey such as life. I wish I could give ZERO STARS but One star simply because Maureen is amazing and everytime I need something she does what she can to help but I’ve lived here for about a year, my lease is next October and its safe to say after what happened last night and how the staff reacted I most definitely will not be renewing my lease. last night, my car got broken into. They stole everything, its replaceable so I got over it but its the principle. After calling the leasing office the lady who answer literally acted as if she didn’t care, I asked were there cameras in the parking lot to which she replied “No but we have them at the gate” what use is that to me if my apartment is in the back? I already had called and made a police report, it took about 3 times for someone in the office to answer. If you scroll down and read the reviews somebody getting their car broken into has happened before at this complex. This is the icing on the cake for me seeing as that next year I will be welcoming kids into this world and they will have to live here for 6 months of their lives. what are they gonna steal next? My babies strollers?! The area is nice, you are close to the mall, target and a lot of restaurants but not worth getting booted 5 times a day, car break ins or neighbors fighting in the parking lot, thin walls. Not only that but the unnecessary charges we’re getting this year, valvet trash, valet package deliveries, if you dont bring you trash bin inside you will be charged 40 dollars?! the gate hasn’t worked in months and instead of fixing it, they just added like 5 additional speed bumps within the complex. yeah keep looking. Me & My Husband happily living here from Dec 2014 .We are leaving tomorrow moving to a new place .So today I thought to share my experience.

Location: Anything you need pretty much around the corner or short drive away. If I will come to location. It’s situated near interstate 77 & 485(near to downtown just after 2 exits). If you will head towards Right then Its very near to North lake Mall, Target, Loews, Best Buy & many other stores restaurants .And in the left side You will find Food lion, Aldi, Walgreen, CVS And all fast food chain .Most importantly as a Indian you will find a temple near this community which is near to Hornets Park All these things makes this community very much convenient to live. Community-The Community is well kept and well managed. It’s a gated community and very secure place to live .Never seen anything wrong from last 2 years. It’s very safe, peaceful and family oriented community. I live in phase 2. The floor plan are excellent. They have two car wash center and two pools which I absolutely love. In last two years I had visited many community and I found this community one of the best community in Charlotte . Office Staffs: The most important thing when you entered a new community is obviously I think the people in the leasing office .I found the staff are very much helpful, Transparent, well behaved and Co-operative. They will make you very much comfortable in each issues you will face during your stay. They always organized different activities for the residents which helps you to find new friends and to be socialize. Maintenance: This is the another important thing in the checklist to find a new community .The maintenance team are very much helpful and well behaved person .Just a make a call and you will get immediate response .Specially I am very much Thankful to Hardey. He is a nice person. They listen to our problems always and it’s a great thing. I highly appreciate the management for this. Definitely...

Beware predatory booting companies, significant rent spikes, and reckless drivers.

I lived here approximately 2 years. Before even moving in, the complex had false information on all of their leasing material indicating a washer/dryer is included in all units. After multiple escalations and verification of the incorrect information on all their material, they provided a washer/dryer rental for the life of my lease after speaking to a supervisor multiple times.

During most of my tenure her, the "gated community" gate has been either wide open for anyone to enter without approval, or the gate has been broken. Don't worry though, everyone will just drive through the exit gate and nearly ram your car while you try to leave.

Recently, they instituted a parking permit system where all spots in the complex are registered and there are woefully insufficient visitor spaces. Do you want to have two friends come over for the afternoon? Not allowed. My retired parents visited my complex after dinner (the gate was up as usual, obscuring the parking enforcement), they arrived at 8 pm, left at 8:14 pm, their car was booted at 8:12 pm. Extremely predatory parking enforcement by the parking vendor LMS. The number provided on the tag did not answer multiple phone calls, the Abberly Woods emergency line did not have the correct information to assist, and by the time someone was finally reached it took over 90 minutes and cost $140 to have the boot removed.

Cap this all off with a nearly 30% rent increase (14 month renewal has 5% increase, 11/12/13/15 month all have a 20% increase) and the mediocre luxury amenities and I would strongly not recommend...
